Work Injuries Based On Type of Accidents
Earlier we identified four kinds of injuries mainly based upon type of disability. This classification is needed for the purposes of compensation and insurance. There is yet another way of classifying injury on the basis of type of accident. Such type of a classification may be helpful in improving safety conditions in workplace and might attract attention towards causes of accidents. The general causes of accidents are identified as:

- Compression
- Rubbing or abrasion
- Falls
- Body reaction to chemicals
