The death rates because of accidents vary from industry to industry. Following is the list of industries in order of decreasing death rates.

Above is a classic ranking but difference between Mining and Agriculture is very small and they may exchange positions. It is mostly because workers involved in Agriculture are very large, and conditions in both of the Mining and Agriculture tend to be unpredictable and uncontrollable. The difference among the Services and Trades is as well very small with minimum number of death causing accidents.
