Illustrate how singapore has responded to issue identified

Problem

Humans are producing lots of greenhouse gasses and are emitting them into the atmosphere thus leading to climate change, research has shown that the cause of climate changes has led to the rise of global sea levels. The world-wide sea level has risen to a high of 3.8 inch as compared to Year 1993 sea level.

Singapore is an island which is enclosed by sea and does not have a rich amount of high ground to escape to, the continuous rising of the sea level can cause catastrophic consequences in the future.

Singapore has launched a strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 2030, the plan includes reduction of carbon emission, investing in development of low-carbon technology.
