Problem
You are the president of a two-year community college. You receive a letter from the president of the major transfer institution for your students. The letter informs you that, because of state funding cuts, the university will limit the number of transfer students it admits to preserve seats for deserving freshmen. Also, the GPA for students transferring from community colleges will be increased from 2.5 to 3.4 beginning next semester.
