A new group has emerged in middle east. They have declared a holy war to the US. The joint chiefs have formed an inter-service task force to access the threat. What's the definition of holy war in Middle East context? Is this a serious threat to the US? And how can we counter this threat? are there ways to delegitimize the group call to holy war? Does the concept of holy war have any tactical and strategic weakness that can be exploited?
