Some take aways I have from this term when it comes to my historical event on climate change and will carry on when evaluating current events is to trust but verify when reviewing your sources, and take into account if it's a primary source or secondary source. Evaluating the context of the source is also very important when determining the validity of the source. It's easy to allow your own beliefs to impact your thoughts when reading a news article or scrolling through social media posts, but if you can keep an open mind, you may find more value in the subject matter when looking at it from another perspective.
