Write simulated 'diary' that records experiences and opportunities to develop relationships with your colleagues and the children in your care. Your diary should cover one 5-day week, with at least two diary entries per day.
Create other scenarios. In your 'diary' entries, you should summarise each experience or situation and identify if you were directly involved or if you observed others. You then need to reflect on the situation, including consideration of the following:
1) How did the experience enhance relationships with babies and toddlers?
2) Opportunities to build on the experience to further develop relationships.
3) What could have been done differently to improve the outcomes?
4) Any challenges in identifying or initiating opportunities to develop relationships with babies and toddlers.
