Are any of his peers that you read about had stronger impact

Problem

We were asked to consider the world that set the stage for the 19th century--the later 17th and the 18th century. In particular, we have to focus on the ideas of John Locke and the various effects it had on the Enlightenment. Examine each of them carefully and discuss how each of his ideas relates to each other and how they influenced Modern thought of his time. Although we have not studied the 19th century yet, how do you think Locke's ideas would affect the following century? Are any of his ideas contradict each other? Do his ideas continue to be important today? Are any of his peers that you read about had a stronger impact than he did on subsequent generations? If so, why? If not, why not?
