Problem related to the scientific method

Problem:

The scientific method is a series of 5 steps which were designed to help being the a deeper level of thinking. It finds the truth by ensuring that the facts are consistent with reality. The scientific method is mostly used by researchers to test their research theories or hypothesis. When it comes to nursing the scientific method cannot always be used since there may not be a specific problem to be fixed. If I could conduct my own biopsychology research study that pertains to the nursing profession, I would focus on how stress and long shift hours affect nurses mental health and their ability to care for patients. A ethical concern that might arise during my study is emotional discomfort. For many talking about their mental health or even stress is not easy. This is why I would keep my study respectful and as stress free as possible while providing nurses with information on mental health resources. After reading the textbook I chose the Stanford prison experiment. In this study people were randomly picked to act as guards and prisoners in a stimulated prison. the study became unethical because the participants experienced things such as emotional distress and psychological harm. To make the Stanford prison experiment ethical there are many modifications that would have to be made. Provide response. Provide reference in apa format. Need Assignment Help?
