Problem: You will be developing a short (20 question) questionnaire for an exposure study. The study will look at the study will recruit 25 families with children's exposure to PBDE's in household dust in an urban community. A young child (between 1 and 3 years of age). Dust samples will be collected in each home and samples of the children's blood will be collected and analyzed for the appropriate biomarker. The purpose of the questionnaire is to look at the children's activities that might impact their exposures. The parent (proxy respondent) will be completing the questionnaire. Given the length, your questionnaire is not expected to be inclusive of all possible exposures. However, questions should include basic demographics, source questions, and activity questions.
