How effective vivid ads are at capturing peoples attention

Problem: For the reply post, when responding to your classmates, note similar or differing dimensions that existed between the vivid ad or the message that both you and they selected. This is my peer's post--When it comes to how effective vivid ads or messages are at capturing people's attention, if the ad or message is memorable it can grab people's attention. But that doesn't mean that the ad or message will bring about a change in people's attitudes and judgments towards the subject of the ad or message. There is actually very little evidence that supports the idea that vividness effect can alter people's attitudes or judgments. Research has suggested that if a message contains "concrete and colorful languages are no more likely to change attitudes" instead of "abstract and dry language". Along with these findings, "messages with photographs usually have no greater appeal" (Fiske & Taylor 2020). The example that comes to mind is a game you can play on your phone called Treat: Play and impact Real dogs. When I first came upon this game, it sounded like a great idea. Every day you need to check into the game and take care of avatar versions of dogs that are available for adoption from all over the country. You earn kibble or points for these dogs by bathing them, cleaning up after them and giving them treats while you go around the game board. When you reach certain goals, the pet supply company, Chewy donates treats and dog food to the shelters where the real dogs are. Need Assignment Help?
