The subculture that I easily got exposed to was the hip hop culture. Hip hop is something that individuals uses to express life changing situations through fashion, music, and dancing. For me hip hop was easy to learn because of my culture. Rapping and breakdancing are both the norms for hip hop. Taboos in hip hop can be being a copycat and stealing someone else's style of work. There are pros and cons to everything and the cons to hip hop are foul language, drugs, and violence which makes hip hop fall into a stereotype. Hip hop can influence negative behavior in communities. The pros are that in hip hop you can express yourself through your rap, fashion, and as well as dancing. Sometimes individuals cannot vent to no one, so they put it in their music, it raises awareness about social problems. Hip hop keeps individuals up in style. In 1995 the style was loose clothing but now today people wear mostly fitted and tight clothing.
