Assignment task: You have been requested to attend the latest leadership meeting explaining your status with the team and what your approach has been so far, along with intended plans. You are presenting to your manager and his peers.
With the information you developed in Part I, construct a seven-slide oral presentation to the leadership.
The presentation should be clear and concise, using bullets and graphics to illustrate what you have learned.
A suggested structure of the presentation:
- Introduction slide
- Frame the problem you have been given (hint: you may want to use your five why analysis to help you frame and present the root causes).
- What have you done to understand the individuals on the team?
- What actions should you take to improve individual performance?
- What kinds of leadership tactics should you use?
- What are your most critical decisions to make in the first 90 days?
- Wrap-up slide / Questions
