2) Summary of issues in the Treaty;
- Description of objectives/principles and action plans
- Discussion/analysis as to opinion as to whether action plans are effective/sufficient
3) Analysis;
- How or should principles be implemented within each sphere of government
- Is implementation effective by these spheres
- Recommendations for improving implementation by government
4) Discussion on:
- How Australia should improve implementation and outcomes based of Treaty principles (related to ESD) to meet its objectives and rationale for your recommendations
- What will be achieved by these recommendations
With this assignment it is important to ensure that you analyse the treaty and how it is being implemented by government in respect to the principles of ESD - so if you are not sure about ESD, the readings will provide some guidance (the early ones that is). Remember, it is not juts about summarising what has happened or what you recommend, but analysis - why do you think something and give reasons for it.
