Introduction to Computer System Engineering

According to the Webster new dictionary the engineering refers to:

The art science of making practical application of the knowledge of pure science such as physics.  Chemistry biology etc.

When the engineering tern is combined with the system then it is defined as:

System engineering is the application of engineering to the design development   of systems.

Or it can be stated as:

It is an interdisciplinary activity which involves the groups of members from the different backgrounds.

After that the required needs of the system   are finalised, requirement are known and mentioned and then scope objectives and output in a hierarchical manner. so first the input  at the data level is set  then processes  are  set for  data  acquisition, transaction  processing  application  processing  and  at last the output  is  produced  as information system design. This complete work of finding the information needs to the determined and achieved system design and architecture is called the computer system engineering.
