Introduction to Adder
An adder or summer is a digital circuit which carry out addition of numbers in electronics. In new computers adders exist in the arithmetic logic unit (ALU) in which other operations are carried out.

HALF ADDER:
In electronics a half adder is a logical circuit which carry out an addition operation on two one-bit binary numbers frequently written like A and B. The output of half adder is a sum of the two inputs generally presented with the signals such as Cout and S in which sum = 2 × Cout + S. The logic table for a half adder is displayed below:
As an instance, a Half Adder can be made with an XOR gate and an AND gate.
