Introduction to Behavioural Modelling

Behavioural modelling is an operational principle for all requirement analysis methods. Very few tools such an s state transition diagram are used to represent the behaviour of the system to various external conditions and inputs. It graphically represents how a system in one state switches to another state on the action of external stimuli and control signals.

A state is any observable mode of behaviour. System states are represented by rectangles and arrows are used to represent transitions between states. Each  arrow is labelled as a ruled expression  A/B. If any correction is required then it is returned back to the student, otherwise authentication of student is checked. If student is authentic then receipt is issued to him otherwise form is returned back to the student.
