Pseudo allacheria boydii:

  1. The granules are yellow or white in color. The hyphae are wide septate seen at the periphery, they have club shaped ends.
  2. Acremonium falciforme the granules are yellow or white, soft with hyaline hyphae. No cement substance is viewed.
  3. Exophiala jeanselmi the granules are dark brown or black in color. They are lengthened and soft. They look similar to worm cyst.
