You will write an academic essay focusing on a chronic health condition experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You will describe how key demographic, social, or cultural factors impact upon this health issue. You will then describe the effectiveness of a contemporary healthcare strategy in relation to the chronic health condition.
Ensure you include one health perspective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You will also explain how you might apply your knowledge of the health perspective (eg model of health, practice examples) towards improving the health status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
