Problem
Having read Ursala K. LeGuin's short story "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas," write a short paper explaining why you would or would not walk away from Omelas after you went to see the child. In the course of your paper, be sure to state clearly which ethical theory you are using as the basis or justification for your decision. Also, state clearly how someone using a different ethical theory form the one you use would decide to act. To do this you will need to lay out the competing theory clearly. Be sure to explain why you prefer one theory over the other.
