You will select a TV show or movie - one you have seen in its entirety or, in the case of a series, have watched enough of to write knowledgeably about - and compose a digital review that informs, analyzes, and persuades your audience. Your review should read as both a critical analysis and a recommendation, guiding your reader toward or away from the viewing experience based on your informed perspective.
Your review must be in a digital format. Acceptable platforms and formats include a blog post(Canva), a website created through a platform such as Canva, Google Sites or Wix, a narrated slideshow, a video review, or a digital document formatted for online reading(think a digital magazine). Discuss your chosen format with your instructor if you are uncertain whether it qualifies.

Introduction and Selection Reflection
Begin your review with a brief but engaging introduction that identifies the TV show or movie you selected and reflects on why you chose it. Consider the following as you write this section:

Plot Summary
Offer a clear and concise summary of the plot. Your summary should give your reader enough contexts to understand the story without revealing major spoilers. If you are reviewing a TV series, focus on the overall premise and the arc of the season or seasons you are discussing. Consider addressing the following:
What is the central conflict or driving narrative of the show or movie?
Who are the main characters, and what do they want or need?
How does the story develop, and what kinds of challenges or turning points arise?

What kind of viewer would enjoy it most, and are there viewers who might not appreciate it?
What is your overall assessment of its quality and value?
If applicable, you may include a rating (such as a star rating or a score out of ten), but this is optional.
Digital Format Requirements
Because this is a digital review, you are expected to take advantage of the affordances of digital writing and design. Your review must include the following digital elements:
