You will write a two-page (maximum does not include title page) essay using Microsoft word addressing a commandant-selected professional military subject from the perspective of a corporal/sergeant (team leader). The Commandant (or designated representative) selects the winner and recognizes them with a certificate of achievement and coin during graduation. The Course Manager annotates the Commandant's Writing Award on the winner's DA Form 1059 Service School Academic Evaluation Report. Essay must contain 2 references, 1 must be from the NCO Journal. It is an individual assignment however peer editing is allowed. Essay is due 2359 day 5. Your essay should be formatted using Introduction, Body, and Conclusion.
