WORKING OF EYE -
Human eye is sensitive to light wavelenght ranging from 380 - 760 nm.
Bees, ants, spiders and gold fish can see uttraviolet light which is invisible to human.
It has 2 functional parts -
1. Focussing part or dioptic -
It consists of conjunctiva, cornea, aquous humour, lens, vitrous humour. They refrect the light rays to bring them on the retina. Maximum refrection is caused by cornea.
2. Receptor part -
It comprises of retina. Here inverted and smaller image is formed.
In man Binocular or steroscpic vision is formed due to position of eyes i.e. close to each other.
In rabbit and other animals except primates monocular or panoramic image is formed.
