I. A critical analysis is subjective writing because it expresses the writer's opinion based on the evaluation of texts.
II. It will be important to identify the key theme(s) and the purpose of your reading, analyze the importance of the main idea(s).
III. Have one or two key questions as points of inquiry. Summarize your readings and observations with reason.
IV. Consider the following questions:
i. Why/how did the readings affect you?
ii. How is the material organized?
iii. What does it clearly address?
