What do you think of this view on education as ensuring compliance to the existing order? Do you see validity in Freire's theory? What are ‘the interests of the oppressors' or the ‘situation that oppresses'? Who benefits from instilling conformity through such an educational system? Please offer a reflection on this view of formal schooling and offer some examples to substantiate your point of view, whether you agree with Freire's argument or not.
