ARGUMENT: The U.S. should legalize physician assisted death.

Show that there is no significant problem to be addressed or need for change.
Show that some program currently exists which can better deal with the problem area. (Consider Hospice Care as an alternative. Provide support)
Show that the resolution will not be able to solve the problem effectively.
Show a potentially harmful consequence will result if the resolution is adopted.
Consider the following in argument: some argue that PAD diminishes the value of life. Some point to the Netherlands which started with PAD and has now adopted euthanasia which does not require consent. You might also investigate the argument that health insurance companies will deny expensive treatments in favor of PAD.
