Problem

A student set up an experiment using the catalase enzyme. Catalase breaks down hydrogen peroxide to produce water and oxygen gas. The amount of oxygen gas produced can be measured by measuring the height of the bubbles produced after 2 minutes. The setup of the experiment can be seen in the table below. Why is there a different volume of water added to each tube?
