Listening is one of the most important, but most difficult, of our communication skills. You can hear, and not listen. Because of this, we fall into the bad behaviors discussed in module 2.

• Which of the seven faulty listening behaviors do you tend to fall into more often (you could have more than one, and that's ok!)?

• Explain why you fall into them and explain what happens to the understanding of the language and communication used (meaning: do you understand the message being sent to you? Have you created conflict in that relationship? Has this ever impacted you at work? If you are not working, especially dual enrolled students, what about a time when you were volunteering, or a time at school in an organization such as ROTC, band, cheer, SGA or a sport, or even class.).
