As you know, New York was going through a difficult time with crime control. As you should also know, crime control is not always about ‘fighting crime.' There are many issues and factors that feed into a crime problem. New York developed a strategic plan for reducing crime in the city focusing on several of these factors.
You should complete a paper in which all of the following are addressed:
1. What is the NYPD's focus in this strategic plan?
2. What is/are the theoretical background/s of this strategic plan?
3. How does this plan propose to address the crime problem?
4. Your opinion on the strategic plan.
