What is the clinical picture of the epilepsy in children

Problem

What is the clinical picture of the epilepsy in children and adolescents? This would entail a description of the disorder, etiology (how does it occur), comorbidities, neuropathological changes, risk factors for developing the disorder (if any), predictors of recovery, and/or neuropsychological findings (such as psychosocial impact and/or neurobehavioral or functional consequences). What functional impairments (social, family, schooling, etc.) might we see in a child/teenager with this disorder? Identify appropriate interventions (medical, social, family, school, etc.). What accommodation and/or adaptation in the home and school setting may be useful for parents, teachers, and/or a therapist?
