Educational Autobiography
This is a piece of academic writing; your grammar, formatting and sentence construction should reflect as such-that is, make every effort to proofread and present the best version of your writing. This is an educational autobiography of your experiences as a learner.
Discuss your own educational and/or professional goals by reflecting on the following:
• What are your beliefs about yourself in regards to education?
• How have your past educational experiences shaped those beliefs from your earliest memories as a learner (as early as kindergarten) until now?
• Do you believe that education is valuable to you?
• What/who has inspired you educationally?
• What are your future educational expectations and plans?
• Do you have any fears about college or your future professional path?
Please cite specific examples of your experiences and how they apply to the questions you are addressing.
Your autobiography should be of 750 - 900 words using 12-point font, double-spaced.
You do not need to answer EVERY question. Answer as many as you think it will take to tell your story. Write it in an essay format, with paragraphs and a logical organization.
Do not list the questions and answer them; the questions are simply ideas to get you thinking about the topic.
