Assignment
Part A: Use the two sources to identify some basic information. Use at least two of the three resources listed above to answer these questions. Make sure you tell exactly where you found each piece of information. If one source gives different information from the other, please make sure you say that there is a difference and explain what it is. Do not simply copy and paste information from the sources for this part of the paper. You must read the information and put it in your own words (paraphrase it).

2. Give a brief description of the work (one or two paragraphs)
a) What does the person do?
b) What are the working conditions?
c) What are the education and other qualifications needed?
d) What is the job outlook?
e) What are the potential earnings?
Part B: Evaluate how you fit with this career. The information in pages 93-98 in your textbook will help you identify your Holland Code and other information about yourself. Discuss what you learned about yourself in terms of your personality type and compatible careers.
Part C: Summary. Tie together parts 1 and 2 and add any other information that you think fits. You should repeat some of the information you included in parts 1 and 2.
a) Strengths (one or two paragraphs): What are your own personal strengths and interests that fit well with this career?
b) Weaknesses (one or two paragraphs): Where do your skills, interests, plans, etc. not fit well with this career?
c) Opportunities (one or two paragraphs): What are the positive opportunities for this job and for you in this job? (Examples: the career is growing, the industry is moving to Chicago, you have family or friends in the field who can help you find a good job quickly)
d) Challenges (one or two paragraphs): What challenges would you face if you decided to pursue this job? (Examples: you would need to stay in college for 15 years, you would need to be better at math than you have been in the past, you would need someone to care for your children during the travel that the job requires)
e) Conclusion (one paragraph). Is this job a good one for you? Why or why not?
