Assignment task: There are many factors why the school system fails. One of them is the lack of equal education for Latinos, Black and other minority students. In low-income schools Black and Latino's students are the most affected. Black and Latinos are the ones who basically receive a different curriculum, different treatment, and they are the group of students who receive the fewest resources either in the form of classes or resources to attend college. (Hammond para, 7) Educators tend to be familiar with educational achievement gap between black and hispanic students on one hand and on the other white students. More detail needed in this body paragraph. Maybe give examples of some of things you just list out here.
Also, the idea of educators being aware of the one achievement gap is good, but that statement still needs more to finish off the idea, maybe say that awareness is the first step or that some solutions exist but it's not enough.
