The Presidency
Presidents are called upon to deliver a number of speeches that are characterized by their genres.
Examples include the State of the Union addresses, Inaugural Addresses, and Eulogies.
For this assignment, you should choose a speech by any U.S. President that fits one of these three categories. Using the appropriate assignment sheet (SOTU, Eulogy, Inaugural), analyze the speech and discuss the extent to which it participates in the genre.
