These days, many workers are encouraged to become intrapreneurs and are given the logistical and financial support to stretch out and attempt to create new products and ideas (Jones, 2013). But even to that effort, it is senior management to come up with plans and create an atmosphere for new design thinking. Leaders will have to manage these innovations through approach with cross functional and cross departmental interaction (Jones, 2013). All this is done to promote growth, innovation, collaboration, and new thought to the brainstorm process (Jones, 2013).
