Group dynamics:

Write a report on your experience about a book reading group. Refer to the Academic Skills Guide for information on the required structure of a Professional Report.

Your report should include:

3. an assessment of the level of cohesion in the group
4. a discussion of the norms that are evident in the group
5. an assessment of the stage of development the group is currently in
6. a discussion of the group dynamics and any problems the group is facing
7. an analysis of the leadership of the group
8. an analysis of any focal conflicts that occurred and the way they were handled
9. an assessment of the overall effectiveness of the group
10. 10 valid references to relevant literature, linking your ideas to theory discussed in the unit

In addition:

4. Group stage of development assessed

5. Group dynamics and problems discussed

6. Group leadership analysed

7. Focal conflicts identified and handling of them analysed
