Thesis: The problem is that MLB franchise owners manage their money poorly. This is because they treat their franchises as sources of personal income, focusing on profit rather than building a winning team. This has negative effects on players and fans. To solve this problem, the Major League Baseball should create regulations that limit franchise ownership. If this solution is implemented, Major League Baseball can become more competitive, and even more profitable.
