Problem related to racial discrimination

Problem:

Stereotypes are the lowest level of social bias out of the three mentioned. Stereotypes are often missed or dismissed as jokes, as they are incorrect personal beliefs about a group of people. One example of a stereotype would be that "All Asians are good at math". This statement is absolutely disproven daily in my line of work. Not only is it not true, but it is also unfair towards those who struggle, leading to more self-consciousness in math. Unfortunately, stereotypes are not innocent, and when negative can lead to prejudice. Prejudice is a negatively biased attitude towards a group of people. These attitudes are unpalatable and often lead to preferential treatment or favoring. Once those negative attitudes develop into negative actions, then you have discrimination. Discrimination results from the negative actions of those with stereotypical beliefs or prejudiced attitudes against a group or groups of people.

Subtle Racism, as described by L. Reid states: "Subtle racism is an attributionally ambiguous form of racial discrimination that can occur in virtually any situation." This is often in the form of ignorant questions like "Where are you from?" insinuating that the person the question is directed at is from a different place from the person asking the question, based on looks alone.

What conclusions can you draw upon from the above?
