Problem regarding making a choice

Journal Entry: Making Choices Everything you do is preceded by making a choice-whether it's choosing which apple to pick up in the grocery store or which movie to see on TV. You may think that some of the things you do are so unconscious or subconscious that you don't really have control over them, yet at some level you are making a choice. You choose what to think, what to believe, what to say, how to act, and even how to feel. Many of your choices are governed by the role you are playing at any given time. When you are with your family, you may choose one thing, whereas you would obviously choose another if you're hanging out with your friends. To take ultimate responsibility for your life, your choices must be your own-carefully considered thoughts, words, and actions and their impact on the others around you. When you defer to others because of indecision, fear, laziness, or ignorance, you give up some of yourself-you give them power over your decisions. That deference costs you something in the long run and appears as stress. Remember a situation concerning one of the issues in this chapter? Need Assignment Help?
