Problem on negative emotions in everyday life

Problem:

How can I make notes with bullet points in this paragraph?

They do not confront the emotion, ruminate about it, or express anger to the person seen as the cause of the problem (Blanchard-Fields & Coats, 2008; Coats & Blanchard-Fields, 2008). When older adults cannot avoid negative events, however, they are more vulnerable to the physical effects of strong emotional reactions. At the time when they do encounter negative situations, older adults react as strongly if not more so than do younger adults (Kliegel et al., 2007; Scott et al., 2017). It is helpful that more often older adults avoid situations that lead to negative emotions, however, because if they ruminate on rather than ignore past negative events, they have a harder time recovering from stressors (as indexed by blood pressure) than younger adults (Robinette & Charles, 2016). Older adults have generally better emotional well-being than younger adults, an improved management of their negative emotions is an important reason. Finally, being positive has important implications: emotional experience predicted mortality. Individuals who experience relatively more positive than negative emotions in everyday life were more likely to have survived over a 13-year period (Carstensen et al., 2011). Need Assignment Help?
