Point of deceptive marketing relevancy for certain products

Discussion:

Need 250 words Ans only:

I guess I belong to the different market segment. I actually buy Dr. Oetker frozen pizzas exactly as they are in my perception reliable German processed food brand which I know and love from my childhood (puddings, cake mixes, whipped cream and all baking related products). Where Dr. Oetker makes their product makes no difference for me as long as the promise of quality and value is kept. Knowing that the pizza is made in England and not Italy actually sound reassuring. As such I do not consider myself victim of deceptive marketing in this case. Quite the contrary, perception and value message is transferred to my 8 year old son who prefers Dr Oetker frozen pizzas over any other.

This however brings into focus the point of deceptive marketing relevancy for certain products, like the frozen processed food.

Does it really matter if such product has the packaging implying more noble origin? Is pizza even considered Italian anymore?
