1. Of late, there have been intense debates on issues of racism and tribalism in Namibia and South Africa. This has led to a public lecture on racial and tribal discrimination which was held on the 10th February 2016 to deliberate on whether or not a new law is needed. Conduct a thorough investigation on the causes and impact of racism and tribalism in the Namibian society. Make the necessary recommendations on the basis of your findings.

2. Family can be defined as a social institution that binds people together through blood, marriage, law, and/social norms. According to the sociological perspectives, families perform several functions. By making use of relevant examples from your community, discuss the functions of the family from the conflict perspective.
