Problem: Revise this paragraph: Is it possible to add sickle cell crisis to the NIPO contrast workflow tip sheet, and to the form CON701 Radiology and Imaging Contrast administration Policy? I did not see it listed in either of these documents. Clarissa sent me a tip sheet from 2018 that said it was a NIPO Stopped, but I was not sure if it was this or if it was the same flow as a patient on Dialysis. We had a pediatric patient this morning from the ED that was in sickle cell crisis. I entered it as a NIPO stopped, received Rad approval and had the contrast order cosigned. I don't know if maybe I am looking in the wrong places for this type of contrast situation, or if I missed information on it not being an issue anymore but wanted to bring to your attention.
