Identify three types of conflict that groups experience. Of these, which type of conflict do you think is the most destructive to the group?
A. Task Conflict: This is how it sounds. Members in groups will have disagreements over certain ideas, beliefs, and actions. Let's say that one person in the group has an idea about an outcome or goal while the other has a differing outcome-conflicts can emerge!
B. Personal Conflict: Again, this looks like it sounds. In this conflict, members will argue and have conflicts over differences in communication styles or personalities. I feel like a lot of conflicts take place because of personal issues.
C. Procedural Conflict: This is very similar to task conflicts, but in this conflict, members will have disagreements over how procedures or methods should be done. For example, maybe the group wants to rake the field first, but the other members think it is best to get rid of rocks before they rake.
