Use a Hospitality Business you are currently working in, or one you have previously worked in. If you have no Hospitality experience you can view Simulated businesses online (IBSA Coffeeville, for example see https://simulations.ibsa.org.au). You may use a different Hospitality example from Internet sources. Please remember to reference all your sources of information.
For this activity, you will need to write a report discussing how you could monitor work operation in your organisation. If you work in a large organization, choose one team or department to write your report on. Please ensure that you include a discussion of each of the below points:
1) How you would monitor and improve workplace operations?
2) How you would plan and organise workflow?
3) How you would monitor and support team members?
4) How you would solve problems and make decisions?
• Provide 2 examples from your workplace,
• Discuss two possible workplace productivity issues if you are describing work operations in a simulated hospitality business.
