Assignment task:
Presentation in which you lay out the strategy of how you will carry out the strategic planning process and how you will communicate it to the different organizational groups.
The idea of this assignment is not that you summarize the plan itself (although you may use components of it as you see fitting) but that you lay out a strategy of how you will communicate with each of the different groups of people within the organization at each stage of the planning and implementation process.
Begin by identifying the groups that need to be informed and what type of involvement each group will have. Identify as well the stages of the planning process and who will be involved in each stage. Then decide what type of communication will need to happen at each stage (i.e. meetings, newsletters, presentations, surveys, etc.). Prepare the presentation as if you were presenting it to the board who is already willing to engage in the process of strategic planning but they want to make sure that the whole organization will be informed and involved in it.
