Discussion Post: Privilege Self-Reflection
Refer to Use Your Everyday Privilege to Help Others by Dolly Chugh - It's one thing to recognize and acknowledge your privileges and another to use them. Start by listing out some of your privileges. Then, share some ideas on how you can use your privilege to help others who do not benefit from those privileges. Are there actions you have already done or plan on doing to address the disparities? It is possible that you may not want to use your privileges to support others. If this is the case, ask yourself why you feel this way. You are free to share this self-reflection.
