Throughout this semester, I learned that script automation is a lot more simpler than I previously thought. Before I started this course, I didn't know how hard it would be or if I'd be able to last in this class. But now, at the end of this course, I can say that I am very confident in my ability to create a script and automate a process. I learned that many industries have a use for script automation. From bookkeeping to inventory management or keeping track of expenses, script automation has a use in every industry and has a never-ending list of uses. I learned that while coding, you have to pay attention to detail and that even one misplaced quotation mark, comma, etc can mess your whole script up and give you syntax errors, learned that the hard way. Another big thing that I took away from this course was how big a deal automation is for cybersecurity. I had no idea that script automation had anything to do with cybersecurity and was very surprised when I learned that.
