Problem: Respond to My name is Ciara Pincheon, and I am from Buffalo, New York. I currently serve as AGR (Active Guard Reserve) at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station in the Air Force, where I work in Human Resource Administration. My long-term goal is to become a therapist, and I am currently working toward that by completing my master's degree in psychology with plans to pursue a PsyD in the future. I am also a single mother of two daughters, ages 10 and 7. While I truly love being a mom, balancing work, school, and parenting can be challenging at times. However, my biggest motivation is showing my daughters that if you have a goal, you have to work hard and fight to achieve it. I often tell them that by the time I retire in about 10 years, we can all go to college together, which they find really exciting. Outside of my professional and academic life, I coach softball, play in a volleyball league, and enjoy drawing and watching anime. As I begin this course, I am especially glad that I previously took the Ethics and Standards class, as it has given me a strong foundation in understanding where to find guidance related to psychological assessments. What interests me most about this class is my natural curiosity about identifying patterns, correlations, and common factors within psychology.
