Problem: I believe that Leadership competence is a significant part of any profession. It is essential critical in the healthcare field because of the significant collaboration needed to facilitate care delivery. As witnessed in the course readings, every generation of employees respond uniquely leadership styles. While baby boomers associate more with autocratic leadership, generation z require more of coaching style. I associate more with the autocratic style like the baby boomers. However, this does correspond with the generational leadership styles because I do not fall in the baby boomers age bracket. Nevertheless, I am the kind that loves to see leaders take control and provide the leadership needed to navigate difficult situations.
